Jonathan Myerson joined VISIO as Head of Fixed Income and Multi-Asset in 2019 and has more than 30 years of experience in South African fixed income markets. His career spans investment management and sell-side research, including senior roles at boutique asset managers and as Head of Research at RMB. Jonathan is known for combining deep macroeconomic insight with rigorous security selection, active portfolio positioning and a strong focus on managing downside risk. His experience across market cycles gives him a valuable perspective on interest rates, inflation, and opportunities in South Africa’s bond market. He has received several Raging Bull and FundHub awards, been nominated for multiple Morningstar awards, and ranked seven times in the Financial Mail Analyst of the Year survey in the fixed income and derivatives categories.
